I like the concept of desire lines.
It incorporates two principles which I believe in very strongly i.e.
- Human beings are like currents – we follow the path of least resistance; and
- Crowd-sourcing – or the wisdom of crowds – may not often point to the best outcome, but will point to one that is the most amenable to all.
