WHAT THE HELL! Then what about other people? Are they no less deserving of proper homes? Jesus Christ Almighty!
I don’t normally share words, but sharing this one in particular cos it sounds cute.
(Silence.)
What?
Wants to go and watch this!
If the current Singapore government is as mercenary as this article states it to be, I’d be really sad, because I’m a strong believer in justice and ethics.
Funny but painful yet again. But she writes really well.
More yummy soup for the vegetarian/vegan soul. Great photos too!
Haha! So poor thing!
A rambling spiel about ‘greatness’ in all its cluelessness, and a sharp and cutting response to put the writer in his place.
On the contrary, I feel that the media has a duty to present the news from different perspectives in order to inculcate critical thinking in the citizens it serves.
I’m not a very political or politicised person, but I thought this was a very thoughtful post which everyone should read for their information.
I feel that one of the reasons this happens is because of the infantilisation of Singapore citizens through the media, over-reaching government policies, etc. That is why citizens feel a sense of disjuncture or discombobulation when they are told to be independent or do things independently e.g. no state welfare, etc.
I am completely in concordance with this, as I have felt (for far too long) that Singapore is overpopulated. If the argument is that we need people for economic reasons, then I’d suggest we revise our economic policy to fit the physical and human resources of our country – and not the other way around.
Perhaps MPs should be serve their constituents in a full-time role, as opposed to its current seemingly part-time one?
Who would wanna listen to this guy, man?
He sounds like an anal-retentive nitwit.
Eco-living for the modern human.
Sigh.
